Day 5th-Observation on Teacher

I wake up in the morning at 6:00, as usual I have breakfast with Nuzul.
At 07:15 am and Amanda walk to the CMRU Demonstration School, Khru Ning said we had to arrive before 07.30 am every day.

CMRU Demonstration School is not too far from the dormitory, we just walk for 5-10 minutes to school.

I headed to the 3rd floor to 3/1 class. Khru Cream (my cooperating teacher) come, I introduce myself to her, because yesterday Khru Cream was sick and we didn’t know each other.

Khru Cream told me to sit at the table beside her, I put down my bag and the students were very curious about me, they really wanted know me.

At 08.00 am students gather in the field, every morning they gather to sing the Thai national anthem and pray together.

After that, Khru Joy let me and Amanda to introduce themselves to all the teachers and students, they were very enthusiastic to welcome us. I’m really excited spend my days for a month here!

Sawadee Kha, good morning, my name is Anastasya, you can call me Anas. i come from Indonesia. i will teach mathematic for a month.Nice to meet you my students!

Khru Joy told them to call us “Teacher Anas” and “Teacher Amanda”.

Then Khru Ning gave me my teaching schedule. This is my teaching schedule. I got 3/1 class and 3/2 class.

Today, Khru Cream explains the measurement of addition and reduction in centimeters. Students are very enthusiastic about learning. They have good attitude, they are not noisy, listen to what their teacher says.

9:30 is the time to drink milk, they sit in front of the class. Two students distributed milk and straws, and Khru Cream cut their milk. They drink milk together.

11.40 am, lunch time! They took their shoes and marched to the canteen. They sat in their chairs, prayed and then ate together. After that they bring and separate their plates, bowls, spoons and forks to the place provided. They are educated to discipline early on.
