In April 1979, Department of Kindergarten Educational experiment project “Summer School” at the current health education building There are 17 students enrolled as the children and grandchildren of the OIC faculty and students, first-year kindergarten majors, high-school students, acting as teachers, and will operate in the care of the department’s faculty, which has a teacher Manchari. In 1981,  college gave female dormitory 1 to the Department of Kindergarten Education. To renovate into a school building using the new name, Building 15, began to prepare 2 classrooms, one bedroom There is a student bathroom inside. Another room is organized into a library. And media center, relying on the format of the learning center, with Professor Laddani Lamani (now Assoc. Prof. Laddani Lamani) as the guide.

In 1983, opened 1 experimental classroom to welcome the first 23 children. On June 26th, there was a ceremony to open a pre-primary child center at the court in front of Building 15, Department of Kindergarten Education. With Mr. Salayaw Kaewkamerd, Director-General of the Teacher Training Department.

In 1984,   increased to 2 rooms, still has 1 toy library as a media center, funded by the Department of Teacher Education with a educational supervisor unit overseeing the library project To be a pre-primary child center experimental school work under the supervision of the kindergarten department With faculty members as committee members and region secretary, with Teacher Jintana Panthawong being the principal.

In 1986, Asst. Prof. Pittayaporn Manu Chuti is the Principal Since Teacher Jintana Panthawongla studied further in 1987, it was upgraded to a Demonstration School. Moved school work from kindergarten to affiliated with the Department of Demonstration, Faculty of Education, using the name of the Demonstration School of Chiang Mai Teacher College. The School of Education has Dr. Bularat Sittiphong as the Director of Asst. Prof. Pittayaporn Manujuti is the head teacher.

In 1988,they change the name of Chiang Mai Teachers College Demonstration School (Kindergarten) managed by a committee from the Department of Kindergarten Education. Teacher Prapaisri Unahachak, Head of the Department is the president Apinya Manoonsilp is the principal.

In 1990, Faculty of Education Kindergarten teachers which is the executive director of the Demonstration School Make the project to expand class to elementary level. Through the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Wannawadee Ma Lamphong is the head of the Faculty and on 12 March 1991, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mangkorn Thongsukdee signed the approval of the class extension project in 1991. In 1992, Asst. Prof. Komen Theeranoraset, Dean of the Faculty of Education was the director. Ajarn Jintana Panthawong, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Academic Affairs, is the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs. Is the Deputy Director of the Department of Professors, Prof. Prof. Phasuk Phasuk, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management, is the Deputy Director of the Administration, Asst.

In 1994, raise the status of the demonstration school Equivalent to the School of Management Directly to the president who appointed Associate Professor Wannawadee Ma Lamphong as the director. And on December 18, 1994, Asst. Prof. Somphet Chuentrakul, Vice President for Benefits Prof. Dr. Wannawadee Ma Lamphong accepted the appointment as the President of Lampang Rajabhat Institute.

The Demonstration School’s Board of Directors consists of

-Teacher Piyada Pooltachak is the Assistant Director Administrative department

In 1995,  there were elementary school students up to grade 5, changed its name to “Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School”.

In 1996, elementary school students there are all classes, namely from grade 1 – grade 6, as according to the project. There are 402 students, 311 students in kindergarten, totaling 713 students.

On 1th November 2000, Ajarn Jintana Panthawong was appointed to the position of Acting Director of the Demonstration School because Asst. Prof. Somphet Chuentrakul, Director of Civil Service Retired

On 1th June, 2001,  Ajarn Jintana Panthawong was appointed as the director of the Demonstration School of Chiang Mai Rajabhat Institute.

On 10th March, 2006, Ajarn Prapaisri Unhochach was appointed as acting director of the Demonstration  School. Thawong expired.

July 2006 – 2008, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rueangdech Wonglaa, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Accepted the position of director of the demonstration school of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University under supervision and supervision Of the Dean of the Faculty of Education Asst. Prof. Permsak Suriyachan  and appointed Mrs. Wanthanee Chumchob, acting director of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School. Asst. Prof. Dr. Rueangdech Wongla, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Appointed Mrs. Wanthanee Chumchob as the director of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School. Under supervision and supervision Of the Dean of the Faculty of Education Asst. Prof. Yiamlak Udakan on 7 July 2011 

In 2015, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Praphan Thammachai, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, appointed Asst. Prof. Chatree Maneekosol, the position of assistant president. Of the Demonstration School of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University on May 16, 2015. 

In 2016,  Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Council in the meeting No. 12/2016 on October 5, 2016 and in the meeting No. 13/2016 on November 9, 2016, a resolution was passed to approve the university to issue laws regarding the Demonstration School of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University as follows:

In 2017, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Council ordered an appointment of the Demonstration School of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University to order on April 5, 2017, to appoint Asst. Prof. Yiamlak Udaad, the position of director of the Demonstration School, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. From 20 April 2017 onwards, the term will be expired on April 19, 2021

2.  Academic Support System

Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) Demonstration School for their adacemic support system Website, direct contact, email, facebook and fax to be published about school information, activities and admission of new students.

They always update their latest activities, especially on Facebook.
CMRU Demonstration School has a good facility for academic support systems, there are a total of 8 elementary levels with 15 classrooms. To support learning, CMRU Demonstration School has good facilities in this class such as LCD projectors, speakers, microphones, televisions, air conditioners, fans, reading corners, and toy corners.

In CMRU Demonstration School, we can find so many facilities : director room, administrator room, language laboratory, science laboratory, library, nursing room, canteen, toilets, fotocopy room, hall room, dance room, field and parking area.

3.   Teaching System

Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School is a teaching labotory of the Faculty of Education within Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. The teaching and learning program is based on the core curriculum of basic education of 2008, focusing on developing students in a holistic way to develop learners to be innovative physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. With both the teaching and learning focusing on students by using a variety of theories such as Constructionism, the Stem Education promotes learning through activities or projects aimed at solving real-life problems. To enhance life skills, experience creativity leading to the creation of various innovations.

The educational institutions allow all parties to participate in the support of the teaching and learning management, thus being able to create good relationships between the different organizations within Chiang Mai Rajabhat University including third-party communities from various sectors in the development of students in keeping pace with changes, coupled with the development of the 21st century skills.

The    teaching    system    at   Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School uses TCL (Teacher    Center    Learning) and SCL (Students Center Learning). But the most teachers use TCL system.

This school applies a full day school (5 school days) starting at 08.00-16.10. The  teacher  must discipline so that every morning they arrived before 07.30, earlier than the students, they must provide a good example for students.

Every Morning, there is Ceremony (30 minutes) before teaching and learning activities begin. Everyday students come to the field at 08.00 when a song is playing for the flag ceremony with sing the national anthem of Thailand, praying and meditation. And comeback to their own class and class start at 8.30 am.

At 09.30 am the students drink milk together.

After that, they study again until at 11.40 there is have lunch together.

As well as the end of class, they provide Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education to increase student’s knowledge.

4.    Materials and Other Learning Resources

Rajabhat Chiang Mai University Demonstration School has so many various of materials and other sources. Teacher usually used text books from the goverment, real media, colorfull media, audio and video, and experiment for science.

5.  Measurement and Evaluation System

For Measurement and Evaluation of the teaching process in Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Demonstration School, there is :

1)  Mid-Term Exam

2)  Final Exam.

Everyday the teacher provides individual exercise assignments and homework for students as student’s daily score.

6.    Curriculum

Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) Demonstration School follow the Thai Curriculum 2551 from Ministry of Education.

  8. Foreign Languages (English and Chineses)
    As well as the end of class, they provide STEM Education to increase student’s knowledge.
